Antacid |
 Composition:
5 ml (1 teaspoonful) contains:Aluminum Hydroxide 225 mg, Magnesium Hydroxide 200 mg.
Pharmacologic property:
Antacid. Neutralizes free hydrochloric acid, and diminishes peptic activity of the gastric juice. Produces an enveloping and adsorbing effect, improves a barrier function of the stomach’s mucous membrane by forming mucin. Does not cause secondary hypersecretion. Due to low sodium content, the product may be taken by the patients disposed to hypertension.
Indication and usage:
Acute and chronic gastritis, gastric and duodenal ulcer, chronic pancreatitis, reflux esophagitis, hernia of the diaphragm’s esophageal foramen, gastroduodenitis (with normal or heightened secretory function) at aggravation stage, for relief of dyspeptic manifestations (eructation and heartburn resulting from dietary imbalance).
