Pharmacologic property:
Antifungal agent, a derivative of imidazole. It acts on most of Candida spp; Aspergillus spp; Dimorphons fungi; Cryptococcus neoformans; Pityrosporum sp; Topulopsis glabrata. Gynezol 7 inhibits biosynthesis of ergosterol and alters the membrane lipid composition, thereby causing death of the fungal cells.
It acts also on some gram-positive microorganisms
Indication and usage:
Vaginal and vulvovaginal candidiasis; superinfection caused by gram-positive microorganisms
