Drug product of a metabolic type of action |
 Composition:
Vitamin ? (as dl-alpha-tocopherylacetate) 200 IE
Pharmacologic property:
Vitamin ? is an antioxidant. It protects cell membranes of the body’s tissues from oxidation changes; participates in the processes of metabolism in the cells (biosynthesis of heme and proteins, proliferation of cells, tissue respiration etc.)
Indication and usage:
Muscular dystrophy, dermatomyositis, for prophylaxis and treatment of atherosclerosis and myocardial dystrophy; spasms of peripheral blood vessels, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, dysmenorrhea, risks of abortion, dysfunctions of male sexual glands; for certain dermatoses, psoriasis, lupus erythematosus and other skin illnesses. Also used as an antioxidant for prophylaxis of negative consequences of living in the regions with an unfavorable ecological situation.
