Pharmacologic property:
Benzocaine has a marked local anesthetic effect, reversibly stabilizes a neuron membrane, which reduces its permeability to sodium ions. Depolarization of the neuron membrane is suppressed, and in this way the generation and transmission of nervous impulses is blocked. Shark liver oil produces a local anti-inflammatory, hemostatic, wound-healing and immunomodulating effect
Indication and usage:
External and internal hemorrhoids, erosion, rectal fissure, postoperative period in patients who underwent proctologic operations and manipulations; other illnesses accompanied by a marked pain syndrome, itching and burning in the anorectal area.
